Christian Höfer is the founder, owner, and creative force behind filmtonwerk. Within his studio, he meticulously composes, performs, and produces music tailored for film and advertising. Christian is a multi-instrumentalist, adept sound designer, and skilled audio engineer, with a repertoire spanning across numerous image films, clips, explainers, and installations, including projects for renowned entities such as IBM, Metabo, Landal Green Parks, Narcotics Anonymous, Gesamtmetall, and the Sturmflutenwelt Büsum.

His stylistic range is expansive, rooted in folk and rock, with a penchant for infusing rock-oriented pieces with acoustic guitars, mandolins, and ukuleles. Conversely, his early compositions for image films often exhibit electronic influences drawn from techno, house, and electro genres. Enriched by his background as a live and session musician in funk, pop, and jazz, Christian crafts compositions that skillfully merge these diverse elements, yielding results that oscillate between the stylishly minimalist and the grandiose, often delivering surprises along the way.
