Matthias Daiber

Matthias Daiber was born in Germany, in a city near Stuttgart. Growing up he listened to a wide range of music, from classical to soul, funk, rap, reggae and much more. He started taking piano lessons at the age of 9, he had a great teacher, who taught him a lot about composing and arranging music, especially classical. After about 10 years of playing, a friend of Matthias introduced him to some music editing and creating software and immediately he started to dive deep into the fascinating world of music and technology. He was amazed by all the new and almost endless possibilities by using computers, synths, samplers, drum machines and etc. At the age of 23, Matthias decided so pursue his passion for music as a career and moved to Los Angeles, California, where he studied audio engineering and sound production successfully. He has been travelling between LA and Stuttgart ever since and has been working closely with musicians from Los Angeles and Germany. Since then he released two successful piano CDs and is already working on his third studio album. Matthias has been composing, recording and arranging music of all genres, from instrumental music to music for ads and commercials, to movie scores, foley, acoustic recordings, soundtracks up to live recordings and concerts.
